Bryon Carpenter

Abbotsford
Bryon began "teaching" through the Science and Innovators in Schools program (Science World) while a chemist in Langley. A career change took him to SFU for PDP, then SD34 as a classroom teacher, as an online teacher at AVS, and now to the role of EdTech Helping Teacher in SD34. As a husband and father of 3, he find his passion interacting with students and teachers eager to learn math, science and technology. Bryon taught at AVS from 2010-2014 and enjoys engaging students through technologies, but recently has moved to the role of an EdTech Helping Teacher at CORE for SD34. Remember, technologies are mere tools being wielded to enhance our human endeavour called education. B.Ed (2009), M.Sc. (2000), B.Sc (1997)
